Temperature: 350 degrees F. Oven
INGREDIENTS
2 cups (1 lb) butter or margarine
3 1/2 cups (1 lb 8 oz) shortening
2 cups (10 eggs) eggs, whole, beaten
1 qt. water
2 3/4 qt. (4 lb) sugar, brown
3/4 cup (3 1/2 oz) milk, nonfat, dry
4 qt. (4 lb) flour, wheat, pastry, sifted
4 tsp. baking soda
4 tsp. salt
1 qt. (1 lb) cocoa
INSTRUCTIONS
Put ingredients in mixer bowl in order listed. Using beater at low speed, mix 1 to 2 minutes or until ingredients are thoroughly blended. Scrape down bowl once during mixing.
Drop about 1 1/4 oz (1 tbsp) dough per cookie, in rows 4 by 6, on greased pans. Bake about 10 minutes or until done. Loosen cookies from pans while still warm.
