Cheeseburgers

Portions: 2 Patties plus Buns Each
Pan Size:
Temperature: 350 degrees F. Griddle

INGREDIENTS

37 lb 8 oz. beef, ground, tempered
200 each (25 packages of 8 buns) hamburger buns
200 slices (12 lb 8 oz) cheddar cheese

INSTRUCTIONS

Shape into patties 3/8-inch thick weighing 3 oz each. Grill 3 minutes or until brown; turn and grill on other side 3 minutes. Cover each patty with 1 slice cheese. Continue to grill until cheese begins to melt. Serve on split buns.

NOTE: 1. In place of hamburger packages, use 1 recipe for "Sandwich Buns" recipe.
2. If desired, buns may be toasted.
3. If available, char-broiler may be used instead of grill.
4. If beef patties are temper patties, grill 4 minutes on each side.
