Buttered Succotash

INGREDIENTS

9 lb. beans, lima, frozen
9 lb. corn, frozen, whole kernel
6 tbsp. salt
1 gal. water, boiling
2 cups (1 lb) butter or margarine, melted
2 tsp. pepper, black
1 cup (2 oz) parsley, fresh, chopped

INSTRUCTIONS

Add lirna beans and corn to salted water; cover. Bring to a boil; cook 12 minutes or until beans are tender. Drain. Add butter or margarine, pepper, and parsley. Mix lightly.

NOTE: 13 lb 2 oz (2-No. 10 cn) canned lima beans and 13 lb 4 oz (2-No. 10 cn) canned whole kernel corn may be used. Heat to boiling in own liquid Drain. Add butter or margarine, pepper, and parsley. Mix lightly.
